Robert
Gerhardt, a police officer in Blue Ash Police Department and a
third-degree black belt, teaches self defense on Wednesday nights at
Hamilton Fairfield Taekwondo. Mr. Gerhardt
is certified by the State of Ohio to
provide tactical self defense training to police officers and was
quoted in a
Cincinnati Enquirer Article on self defense. The classes are for
both men and women. The classes are balanced to provide the students
self defense tactics that are reality-based.
The class is focused on
providing practical self defense and includes the following elements:

In addition to the
class instruction, Hamilton Fairfield Taekwondo
publishes a monthly newsletter that often highlights
self defense issues and techniques. For
example,
Classes for the
winter are concluded. The classes are typically offered during the
winter.
The classes are for
teens and adults (13 years and older). The class is offered free
of charge the first Wednesday of each month by Hamilton Fairfield
Taekwondo. Non members of the studio can attend the other classes
during the month for a nominal fee of $5/class. Parents of students and
cardio members may take the class for a fee of $3/class. The class is
free to our Taekwondo students. |
